Dolphin Semiconductor is an innovative and dynamic company specializing in intellectual property for semiconductors.
As part of its development, Jolt Capital, a private equity firm specializing in European deeptech, has acquired Dolphin Design's mixed signal IP business. This acquisition led to the creation of Dolphin Semiconductor, which is committed to investing €26 million to support its growth.
To support this growth phase, we are looking for an M&A Analyst (W/M). This position is a new role and can be fully remote. You also have the option to work from our offices in Meylan, near Grenoble.
The M&A Analyst will play a key role in supporting the company’s strategic acquisition initiatives, particularly during this new phase of development at Dolphin Semiconductor.
Your main responsibilities as an M&A Analyst (W/M):
- Sourcing and market analysis: Identify acquisition opportunities, manage a pipeline, conduct market analysis, and develop relationships with key ecosystem players (venture capital funds, accelerators, etc.).
- Financial analysis and due diligence: Prepare financial models, evaluate target financial statements, conduct in-depth due diligence, and analyze synergies and potential risks.
- Coordination and strategy: Oversee cross-functional teams during acquisitions, evaluate strategic and operational aspects, and prepare recommendations for senior management.
- Support in negotiations: Participate in negotiations, structuring, and execution of transactions.
- Post-acquisition: Contribute to the integration of acquired companies, optimize synergies, and monitor their performance through key indicators.
You will report to the EVP Sales and Corporate Development.

You have at least 5 years of experience in mergers and acquisitions (M&A execution), focusing on high-tech startups or small/medium-sized tech companies, with a proven track record in executing transactions in the tech sector. You are familiar with growth dynamics, financial structures, and understand startup culture.
You hold a degree in finance or a related field, and a technical background or an MBA would be a plus.
You excel in financial analysis, modeling, and managing due diligence processes. Your communication skills (fluent English), your expertise in managing complex projects, and your negotiation skills allow you to thrive in a dynamic and demanding environment.
